NOTICE! STILL MISSING! Lucinda, shown below, was lost Friday 4/16/2010 in the Selma Village subdivision south of Festus, MO, Hwy 61 S across the hyway from the R-7 Schools. Lucinda, 2 years old blue (dark gray) and tan female chihuahua, 5 to 6 lbs. She had on a silver reflective collar, rabies tags, and a new blue leash. She is feared lost in the wooded areas. !!! I MISS MY BLUE LUCINDA!!!

NOTE: If you are looking for what some breeders call a "Tea Cup" puppy, you will not want my puppies. My parent dogs are basically 5 lbs. That and other AKC standards is what I try to breed to. (Sometimes, tho, some of my puppies end up being 4 lbs, which is also within the size limits of the AKC.) If you do plan on buying a "teacup, I would recommend that you actually SEE the parents, and that you are getting what you likely will pay dearly for. At least a limited health guarantee is also very advisable.

I PERSONALLY THINK THAT 5 POUNDS IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR A CHIHUAHUA, WHICH OUR EXPECTED PUPPIES SHOULD BE (5 to 6 1/2 lbs) WHEN GROWN. However, I do not guarantee adult size.

Available puppies can always be reserved with a $200.00 (non-refundable) deposit, which will hold your baby until ready, each according to their readiness. I DO REQUIRE A SIMPLE PUPPY DEPOSIT CONTRACT IS REQUIRED. THIS IS FOR THE PROTECTION OF BOTH MYSELF AND THE BUYER. I can send you a copy of the contract upon request. The contract must definately be signed before any deposits are accepted. Please check back often!!!
I DO NOT SHOW MY DOGS AT DOG SHOWS PRESENTLY, BUT MOST OF MY DOGS COME FROM CHAMPION SHOW DOGS. I ALWAYS TRY TO BREED TO THE AKC STANDARD. I would love it if someone who shows dogs would want to show any of my babies!

"PLEASE! BE AWARE! Chihuahua is the smallest dog breed. Any puppy going to a new home with larger pets, or small children, definately need extra supervision and attention. Typically, homes with children under 6 years old, are recommended to wait till the children are older. Also, Chihuahuas can and often do live to about 15 years of age. Long and serious thought should go into adding one to your life. Please do your homework on the breed! Any pets offered here have been socialized and raised right here in my small home, not outside. We attempt to start them on litter box, Pee-Wee Pad and newspaper potty training, (oh, yes, and puppy hugs and puppy kisses! Also, taking naps on the couch with their humans!)
Male dogs of any breed make very, very sweet, and loyal pets. And if neutered before they start lifting their leg, it usually helps to make them even better pets than if not neutered. Of course, ask your vet what age is best for neutering. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY PUPPY MILLS! And I am not a vet or vet-tech, so all info on this website is my opinion or suggestions only!

Regarding newborn pups: I do not like to show the puppies in person until after they have at lease one set of shots. If I do show them before this time, I don't allow anyone to handle them until they are bigger. Most people do not want to drive to see a puppy they cannot hold. Chihuahua puppies are so small when they are young, it is a good idea not to expose them to too much until they have had 3 or 4 sets of shots, whatever your vet advises. So please don't take it personally if I seem a little strict in this regard. Also, after taking your new baby home I advise new owners not to take the puppy out in the public or public places until it has had all the shots recommended by your vet.
THE SIRE OF our PUPPIES IS NINGO BABY, a HANDSOME BLACK AND TAN 5 LBS SMOOTH COAT. Puppies can usually be counted on to be pretty much like THEIR PARENTS, GRAND-PARENTS, ETC. (but, no guarantees on this.)

DEPOSIT/PURCHASE POLICY

REMEMBER, after contacting me to be sure the puppy is still available, a $200.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE) DEPOSIT will hold the puppy till he is 8 weeks old. Initial deposit may be made thru PayPal (add 3%) or by personal check. If depsoit is not received within 7 days from date that you tell me you want to send a deposit, puppy is "AVAILABLE" again. FULL PAYMENT IS EXPECTED BY the TIME the puppy is 8 weeks old. Otherwise, puppy will once again be offered as "AVAILABLE." ANY OTHER TRANSACTIONS (other than a deposit) ARE CASH ONLY PLEASE! Once puppy reaches 8 weeks old (or by the time I feel that puppy is ready to go to his new home,) puppy will only be held for one week. A charge of $10.00 per day will be due to me to keep your puppy after this time. All deposits or the first $300.00 of the puppy's full price is NON-REFUNDABLE. The only time a deposit is refundable is if the puppy becomes seriously ill, injured or dies while still in seller's custody.
